JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Assistant Baker to support the bakery and kitchen team in preparing and producing quality breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Baker in preparing and measuring ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
• Assist in mixing, kneading, shaping, proofing, and baking breads and pastries.
• Prepare and organize ingredients, baking tools, and equipment before production.
• Assist in decorating and finishing baked products when needed.
• Monitor baking time, temperature, and product quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area, tools, and equipment.
• Properly store ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist in inventory checking and proper handling of baking ingredients.
• Support the Baker and kitchen team in daily production activities.
• Perform other baking-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferably with experience in baking, pastry, or food production.
• Fresh graduates or applicants with relevant food-related experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of basic baking procedures is an advantage.
• Willing to learn and work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Must be hardworking, responsible, and willing to follow instructions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The position will be assigned to Jolliant Restaurant in BF Homes, Parañaque City and will primarily work in the bakery/kitchen production area.
