Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings for a variety of baked goods and desserts.
• Support the baking process by monitoring ovens, timing, and ensuring products meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Package baked goods carefully for retail display or customer orders, ensuring freshness and presentation.
• Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices and handling procedures at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products, offering recommendations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Experience

• Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food preparation environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Basic knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and kitchen equipment operation is beneficial.
• Experience in the food industry that demonstrates attention to detail and teamwork will set you apart.
• Strong communication skills coupled with a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $16.25-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 30.0 per week
