Assistant Baker

Assistant Baker – Havn Bakery, Bridge of Allan

We’re looking for an Assistant Baker to join our team at Havn Bakery.

We’re an independent bakery in Bridge of Allan, producing sourdough breads, laminated pastries, cakes and other baked goods from scratch, with a strong focus on quality and consistency.

This is a hands-on role supporting our bread and pastry team with the day-to-day running of the bakery.

The role will include:

• Scaling and preparing doughs and ingredients
• Making cakes, biscuits, fillings and other bakery products
• Assisting with bread and pastry production
• Keeping the bakery clean, organised and ready for production
• Washing up and general bakery duties
• Helping the front-of-house team during particularly busy periods

Previous bakery, kitchen or food-production experience would be an advantage, but we’re also interested in people who can demonstrate the right practical skills, attitude and willingness to learn.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, organised and genuinely interested in baking.

This is a full time role over 4 days. Please do not apply if you are only looking for part-time work.

There will be plenty of opportunity to develop your skills, with training and progression available across both sourdough bread and pastry production.
