Location: Savage, MD
Pay: $16.50–$18/hr commensurate with experience
Schedule: Shifts available within 6am–10:30am Wednesday-Sunday / 1:30pm - 5pm Wednesday-Sunday; determined by the current needs of the business.
Probation: 30 days at reduced pay

We’re a collaborative, detail-driven, creative, community-focused coffee roastery/café seeking a part-time Assistant Baker to assist daily production and support café operations for our fully vegan coffee bar and kitchen. Full time position available commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Bake pastries, scones, coffee cakes, sweet and savory rolls, sweet breads
• Prep sandwiches and other savory menu items
• Manage prep lists, inventory, kitchen workflow
• Assist with barista duties + customer service
• Maintain cleanliness, rotation, waste management

Requirements:

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn about vegan food and baking
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn about gluten-free food and baking
• ServSafe or food handler certification preferred
• Professional baking experience preferred; willing to train motivated candidates
• Basic barista + cocktail knowledge preferred
• Strong time-management, organization, and attention to detail
