Assistant Bar Manager

Industrial Bar & Grill is seeking a dependable and organized Assistant Bar Manager to support daily bar operations and assist with leading the beverage service team. This role involves coordinating staff, supporting guest service, maintaining beverage standards, monitoring inventory, and helping ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout each shift. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility in a busy bar and restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily bar operations and beverage service activities
• Support the Bar Manager with staff coordination and shift workflow
• Help assign responsibilities and communicate operational priorities to bar staff
• Guide and support bartenders and bar team members during busy service periods
• Monitor beverage quality, order accuracy, and customer-service standards
• Assist with training, onboarding, and coaching of bar team members
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests
• Handle routine customer questions, requests, and service concerns
• Monitor beverage inventory, supplies, and restocking needs
• Assist with ordering, receiving, organizing, and storing bar supplies
• Support POS operations and routine cash-handling procedures
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked bar and service areas
• Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational checklists
• Help maintain efficient guest and order flow during busy periods
• Communicate staffing, inventory, and operational needs to the Bar Manager
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace, and company procedures

Qualifications

• Previous bar, restaurant, pub, hospitality, or beverage-service experience
• Previous supervisory or shift-lead experience is preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer-service skills
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking initiative
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced bar environment
• Good attention to beverage quality, cleanliness, and service details
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory procedures, and bar operations
• Able to support, train, and work effectively with a team
• Professional and respectful approach to guests and coworkers

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
