Assistant Bar Manager

Quinn's - Restaurant & Lounge is seeking a responsible and enthusiastic Assistant Bar Manager to support daily bar operations and help maintain high standards of beverage service and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will assist the Bar Manager with supervising staff, managing inventory, coordinating service, and ensuring the bar operates efficiently in a welcoming and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Bar Manager with daily bar operations and staff supervision.
• Support bartenders and service staff in delivering prompt, friendly, and professional service.
• Help prepare staff schedules, coordinate shifts, and train new team members.
• Monitor beverage inventory, manage stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies.
• Maintain beverage quality, presentation, and consistency across all service periods.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with applicable laws and safety requirements.
• Handle customer questions, resolve complaints, and help create a positive guest experience.
• Assist with cash handling, POS transactions, sales tracking, and end-of-shift reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the bar and service areas.
• Help control operating costs, minimize waste, and support efficient service during busy periods.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in bartending, hospitality, or bar supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar service standards.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with inventory control, POS systems, and cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant and lounge environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
