Assistant BIM Modeler / BIM Modeler

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate, detailed 3D BIM models (architectural, structural, MEP, or discipline-specific) from 2D drawings, sketches and project specifications
• Ensure models comply with BIM standards, naming conventions, level of detail, BIM Execution Plan (BEP), and industry guidelines (ISO 19650)
• Perform clash detection and coordination using tools like Navisworks, identify clashes between disciplines, and assist in resolving issues through collaboration
• Generate 2D drawings, sheets, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and quantity takeoffs directly from the BIM model
• Create and customize families/components, parametric content, templates, and project-specific libraries when needed
• Provide technical support to project teams in application of BIM

Requirements:

• Degree/ Higher diploma holder or above in architecture, structure, engineering, building services or a related discipline
• 1 year+ of hands-on BIM modeling experience
• Associate Member of Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modelling (HKIBIM) is preferred
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Fuzor, ACC
• Experience in 5D BIM will be an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Self-motivated, independent, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidates with lesser experience will be considered as Assistant BIM Modeler
