Assistant Boutique Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Boutique Manager to join our dedicated team at Cortina Watch in Kuala Lumpur. As an Assistant Boutique Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of our luxury watch boutique, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales to meet ambitious targets. What you'll be doing

1. Manage all aspects of boutique operations, including staffing, inventory management, and budgeting
2. Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver world-class customer service and maximise sales
3. Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive footfall and increase revenue
4. Monitor and analyse boutique performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
5. Ensure the boutique maintains the highest standards of visual merchandising and brand presentation
6. Collaborate closely with the corporate team to align with broader business objectives
7. Foster a positive, performance-driven culture within the boutique

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a retail management role, preferably in the luxury goods or fashion industry
2. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service
3. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both customers and colleagues
5. Keen eye for detail and a passion for visual merchandising and brand presentation
6. Proficient in using retail management software and data analysis tools
7. Fluency in English, with additional language skills an advantage
