Assistant Branch Manager

About the role

We are looking for a responsible, proactive and service-oriented Assistant Branch Manager to support daily branch operations, guide the customer service team and maintain a professional experience for students and parents.

You will work closely with management and branch staff to keep the branch running efficiently. This is a hands-on role combining customer service, team coordination and operational oversight, with opportunities to develop your leadership skills.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Management in overseeing daily branch operations
• Guide the customer service team and help maintain consistent service standards
• Handle enquiries via walk-in, phone, WhatsApp and email
• Manage customer concerns and resolve issues professionally, escalating when necessary
• Follow up on enquiries, trial classes and registrations to support branch growth
• Oversee class bookings, student records, payments and receipts to ensure accuracy
• Coordinate with instructors and staff on class schedules and student matters
• Assist with task allocation and onboarding of new team members
• Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and the customer experience

About you

• Relevant experience in customer service, administration or branch operations
• Previous supervisory or team coordination experience is an advantage
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently in a busy environment
• A professional, service-oriented attitude and confidence in handling customer concerns
• Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and attention to detail
