Assistant Building Services Engineer / Building Services Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking Assistant Building Services Engineer or Building Services Engineer to join our clients' project management team. The successful candidate will drive building services (MEP) coordination, technical submissions, and site management for local Design & Build projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate building services design, installation, and testing & commissioning (T&C) for Design & Build projects.
• Manage CSD/CBWD (Combined Services / Combined Building Services Drawings) coordination and resolve technical clashes.
• Review subcontractor shop drawings, technical submissions, and material submittals against project specifications.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and statutory bodies.
• Monitor site execution progress, quality control, site safety, and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Assist in preparing progress reports, site variation documents, and T&C schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in MEP/BS engineering.
• Direct experience in Design & Build projects is required.
• Strong knowledge of local statutory regulations, building codes, and T&C procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with BIM / Revit is a distinct advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Building Services Engineer role.
