Assistant Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

Tender Project Coordination & Business Development

• Market analysis and research for identification of potential clients.
• Lead tender submissions for government and public-sector simplified/transitional housing projects.
• Draft tender strategies, pricing schedules, event plans, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with design, finance, and operations teams to finalize submissions.

Event Planning & Client Engagement

• Participation and planning for marketing activities/events to align with tender commitments and brand objectives.
• Client liaison works and visits to ensure seamless event delivery and long-term relationship building.
• Follow up on volunteer reward programs, convenient store partnerships, and school performance arrangements.

Market Intelligence & Partnership Management

• Track latest tender opportunities from Housing Authority, Social Welfare Department, and Yan Chai Hospital.
• Maintain relationships with schools, Convenience Store, and recycling partners. etc.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Degree holder with sufficient working experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in project/event management, sales & marketing, or related field; knowledge of government tender processes is a strong advantage.
• Aggressive and hard-working.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese; capable of drafting tender documents independently.
• Candidates with practical event management experience would be an advantage.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Marketing Officer.
