Assistant Cafe Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Rhythm & Operations: Oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of the cafe, ensuring every shift flows seamlessly from morning prep to evening close.
• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor floor and kitchen staff. Delegate daily tasks efficiently and foster a collaborative, positive work environment.
• Quality & Standards Control: Monitor and maintain the highest standards of food safety, product quality, and presentation across both the front-of-house (floor) and back-of-house (kitchen).
• Customer Experience: Be the warm, welcoming face of the cafe, delivering exceptional, professional customer service and handling guest feedback with grace.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Proven management experience in a busy cafe, coffee shop, or high-volume restaurant setting.
• People Skills: Natural leadership abilities with a talent for organizing teams, delegating tasks fairly, and keeping morale high.
• Customer-Centric: A warm, friendly, and professional demeanor with a true passion for hospitality.
• Attention to Detail: A strong eye for maintaining hygiene, quality, and service standards under pressure.
• Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and mornings, in alignment with our daily cafe rhythm.
