Assistant Chef

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our team. We provide a large variety of prepared meals and salads. We are looking for a candidate with previous food preparation experience working with quality food, scratch cooking, food safety, and proper sanitation knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, preparing meats, or measuring ingredients
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
• Prepare food items according to procedures and standards
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate portioning and adherence to recipes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
