Job Description Summary
Responsible for supporting the overall management and operation of the Engineering Department, ensuring the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and building systems are maintained in a safe, efficient, and reliable condition. The position oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, renovation and improvement projects, energy conservation initiatives, and compliance with all statutory health, safety, and fire regulations. - To comply with all statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety licensing and provide all necessary safety equipment required for work to be carried out efficiently and safely.
- To continually monitor the responsible use of energy in the hotel, and implement measures resulting in energy cost savings.

- Ensure that all maintenance requests are prioritised and are dealt with in an efficient manner, by technically proficient and guest-friendly technicians
- He/she ideally should be certified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Must be familiar with the operations and priorities of all other hotel operating departments.
- Advise other colleagues on Health & Safety rules and processes.
