Assistant Chief Engineer

Qualifications – Assistant Chief Engineer (Hotel Industry)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Licensed Engineer is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in the hospitality, hotel, or property management industry.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in engineering operations.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and safety systems.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance programs and engineering standards.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage engineering projects, contractors, and maintenance teams.
• Proficient in MS Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and emergency situations.
