Assistant Chinese Restaurant Manager

Being a reputable recreation club established in 1930s, Kowloon Tong Club is seeking a high caliber for our Chinese Restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Support the Chinese Restaurant Manager to manage the daily restaurant operation including:

• Lead the service team to provide highest standard of personalised service to members including recommendation on cuisines and wine, and respond to their requests and comments
• Rostering and manpower allocation, provide operational guidance and staff training to employees
• Oversee budgets and forecasts, diligently control costs to align with budget
• Work closely with kitchen team to create new menus and promotion plans
• Ensure the compliance of legal regulations and sanitation standard
• Inventory control and order placing
• Manager the POS system
• Collaborate with internal partners for event planning

Requirements:

• Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management or related discipline preferred but not a must
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supervisory level in Chinese restaurant preferably gained in esteemed hotels or members' clubs
• Self-motivated, customer oriented and able to work under pressure
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills
• Good command of spoken/written Chinese and English
• Familiar with Microsoft Office including Words, Excel and Outlook
• Hands-on skills in budgeting and compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations is an advantage
