Job Details / Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Travel Claims Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling escalated travel claims, resolving disputes, monitoring service performance of our dedicated travel team and driving improvements through claim system enhancements and various ad hoc projects. Your efforts will play a vital role in optimizing operational efficiency and elevating customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Monitoring: provide guidance, coaching and support to a team of travel claims handlers, monitor quality standards and service level performance.

• Claims Assessment: act as a point of escalation for disputes, handle and resolve escalated or complex claims within delegated authority, ensuring fair, timely resolutions.

• Claim System Enhancement:  support UAT activities for system enhancements, claims-related projects, initiatives, and change management efforts as assigned by senior leadership to streamline claims processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in insurance, with a strong focus in travel claims or a similar role.
• Proven experience in handling complex claims and dispute resolution.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Highly adaptable to a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating a proactive, passionate, and results-driven attitude.
