Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily cafe operations and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

Support the barista and kitchen team during busy service periods.

Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service counters, kitchen areas, and equipment.

Assist with opening and closing procedures.

Help prepare ingredients, tools, and workstations for baking classes and workshops.

Assist instructors during baking classes by supporting participants and ensuring activities run smoothly.

Clean and organize the classroom and baking equipment before and after each session.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.

Perform other operational tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Operations Manager.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cafe, bakery, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.

Interest in baking or cooking classes is an advantage.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to learn and support both cafe and workshop operations.

Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.

Positive attitude, reliability, and good teamwork skills.
