Assistant

Kumon of Wakefield is looking for a reliable, patient, and responsible assistant to join our team!

We are preferably looking for adults or high school students who have limited outside commitments and can consistently commit to the required schedule.

Pay: $15–$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule (Required)

• Mondays: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
• Tuesdays: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
• Thursdays: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Applicants must be available to work all three days consistently.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with young children and help them stay focused on their assignments.
• Grade students' worksheets and correct errors as needed.
• Assist students with their math and reading exercises.
• Help maintain an organized, positive, and productive learning environment.
• Follow the instructor's directions and support daily classroom activities.

Qualifications

• Preferably adults or high school students with limited outside commitments.
• Dependable, punctual, patient, and attentive to detail.
• Enjoy working with young children.
• Responsible and willing to learn.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required.

Training will be provided. No prior Kumon experience is necessary.
