In this pivotal project support role, you will bridge preconstruction planning and active jobsite management—collaborating daily with senior project managers, clients, architects, and trade subcontractors. You will take ownership over critical document control workflows (RFIs, submittals, change orders), material procurement tracking, and job costing logs across recognized corporate and retail brand clients. If you bring 2 or more years of construction administration experience, blueprint reading literacy, and proficiency in tools like Procore or Bluebeam, our firm offers competitive base pay, performance bonuses, matching 401(k), and clear internal pathways to full Project Manager autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Control & Technical Administration: Prepare, process, and track critical construction documentation—including Request for Information (RFI) logs, material submittal packages, contracts, and change order requests.
- Office & Field Communication Conduit: Act as the primary administrative link between project managers, superintendents, client reps, and trade subcontractors to maintain schedule momentum.
- Schedule & Milestone Monitoring: Assist project managers with short-term CPM schedule tracking, monitoring material lead times, and updating project milestone logs to ensure on-time delivery.
- Material Procurement & Vendor Tracking: Source material quotes, issue purchase orders under project manager guidance, verify lead times, and coordinate material deliveries directly to active jobsites.
- Budget & Job Cost Administration: Monitor job costing logs, track subcontractor pay applications, compile change order packages, and assist with financial closeout packages.
- Safety & Municipal Compliance: Maintain updated jobsite safety files, track subcontractor insurance certificates (COIs), and assist with local building permit approvals.
- OAC Meeting Facilitation: Attend Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings, document key technical decisions, draft meeting minutes, and distribute actionable follow-up items.

- Industry Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial construction project coordination, project engineering, or construction administration.
- Blueprint & Technical Literacy: Functional ability to read and navigate commercial architectural blueprints, structural engineering drawings, and technical material specs.

- Communication & Follow-Through: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to coordinate effectively with subcontractors, material vendors, and corporate clients.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Self-motivated mindset with strong organizational skills to track multiple active project deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Performance Upside: Direct eligibility for performance-based annual and project completion bonuses.
- Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, plus voluntary pet insurance and Aflac supplemental options.
- Wealth & Retirement: 401(k) retirement savings plan featuring a corporate employer matching contribution.
