Assistant Commissary Manager

About the role

Tapa King Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Commissary Manager to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the daily operations of our commissary, ensuring efficient production and distribution of our high-quality Filipino cuisine across our growing restaurant network.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting the Commissary Manager in the overall management and supervision of the commissary operations
2. Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies, and liaising with suppliers to ensure smooth production
3. Coordinating with the operations team to forecast production needs and manage distribution to our restaurants
4. Implementing and enforcing strict quality control measures to uphold our brand's high standards
5. Identifying areas for process improvements and implementing efficient solutions
6. Leading and motivating a team of commissary staff, providing training and development opportunities
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety and health regulations

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or food manufacturing industry
2. Strong understanding of commissary operations, inventory management, and production planning
3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail
4. Proven leadership abilities and the capacity to effectively manage and motivate a team
5. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations in the Philippines
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
