Assistant Construction Manager/ Site Engineer

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide leadership to construction parties by leading, managing, training, and motivating all parties to ensure project will be quality build out within timeline, and happiness workplace.
• Works with Construction and Design service team, surveyors, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) consultants in investigating sites, and TOR explanation to GCs to perform the bidding process of responsible project.
• Coordinate with Real Estate, and landlord to get all necessary working approval to be able to complete responsible project.
• Manage project scheduling and ensuring of delivering responsible new/ reno project by targeted timeline.
• Ensures a smooth site handover to Operations team.
• Ensures good quality of works. Correct defects by 30 days. Responsible for 1 year construction warrantee.
• Coordinates with Facility engineering team and manage punch list completion, warrantee and store maintenance
• Coordinates with Construction and Design service team, and regional design team to ensure all designs and layouts are aligned and implemented with Starbucks’s standard.
• Coordinate with Real Estate, and landlord to get all necessary working approval to be able to complete responsible project.
• Estimate construction budget and control construction cost according to approved budget.
• Manages, controls, and verifies all variation orders.
• Summarize, and analyst budgeting report

Other: Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

• Basic skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
• Knowledge of concepts, techniques and tools relating to coordinating and tracking projects
• Knowledge of standard, practices and techniques of project management

Summary of Experience

• At lease 3 years working experience in field Construction Management
• At least 5 years working experience in Project Architect and Project Management

Education

Bachelor or Master's degree in Architect, Engineering or related degree

Basic Qualifications

• Know knowledge in Construction System (Plumping, Framing, Electrical, HVAC)

Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

• Has good communication in English
• Excellent in computer literacy i.e. MS Office and MS Project
