Assistant Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented Assistant Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Assist in developing detailed project schedules using scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
• Support the preparation and management of construction estimates and budgets
• Coordinate with project teams to review construction plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure clarity and compliance throughout all phases of construction.
• Prepare detailed scopes of work, perform takeoffs, procure subcontractors and vendors, and conduct comprehensive bid leveling and proposal analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of project documentation including change orders, RFIs, submittals, lookaheads, and progress reports
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication and timely delivery of materials and services.
• Assist in analyzing project data through Excel data analysis techniques to identify potential delays or cost overruns early on.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction management software including Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Buildertrend, and civil engineering project management tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, project planning, and site coordination processes.
• Experience with construction estimating, cost management, and contract administration.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of construction industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams including clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Demonstrated analysis skills for reviewing schedules and budgets to optimize project performance.
• Strong working knowledge of NYC regulatory agencies, construction laws, building codes, and city-specific construction means and methods.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
