Assistant Controller

ASSISTANT CONTROLLER Location: Coral Springs, FL | Onsite Compensation: $120,000–$130,000 + Profit Sharing

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Key Requirements: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience | U.S. GAAP | External audit support | Month-end/year-end close

Position Overview A growing international organization is seeking an Assistant Controller to join its U.S. Finance & Accounting team. Reporting to the Controller and working closely with the CFO, this hands-on role will support accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit readiness across a multi-entity global business.

What You’ll Do

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, general ledger activity, financial statements, and management reporting.
• Help lead audit preparation and coordinate external auditor requests.
• Strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow analysis, AP/AR, and tax-related reporting.
• Work across multiple legal entities and international operations.
• Improve accounting processes, systems, reporting, and automation.
• Guide and support accounting staff.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong U.S. GAAP, month-end/year-end close, general ledger, reconciliation, and financial statement experience.
• External audit support and audit-readiness experience.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting system experience.
• Public accounting background strongly preferred.
• CPA/CPA candidate, multi-entity accounting, international accounting, and leadership experience are pluses.

Compensation & Benefits

• $120,000–$130,000 base salary.
