Assistant Controller

Onsite Role: Partnering with a growing organization seeking a Controller to lead corporate accounting, consolidations, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead corporate accounting and financial consolidation activities across multiple entities.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Research and document technical accounting matters and GAAP pronouncements.
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures.
• Partner with leadership to improve systems, reporting, and accounting processes.
• Coordinate external audits and support compliance requirements.
• Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the accounting function.

Qualifications:

• CPA required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 10 years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong background in corporate accounting, consolidations, and financial reporting.
• Deep understanding of GAAP and technical accounting.
• Experience improving processes, controls, and systems.
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
