Assistant Controller

ICX Group is seeking an Assistant Controller for a stable, well-respected company in Jacksonville. In this role, the Assistant Controller will be responsible for assisting Controller manage daily accounting functions and prepare financials for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Research and offer process improvements within the accounting and finance departments
• Own the monthly close processes while overseeing a team of staff and seniors
• Generate financial reports for senior leadership
• Oversee daily accounting functions
• Supervise and mentor staff
• Serve as a liaison to external auditors
• Forecasting and overseeing estimates to actuals
• Various ad hoc projects

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of Accounting or related experience
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA highly preferred
