Job Specifications

This senior fund accounting role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities across accounting, financial reporting, and control functions. You will work closely with the CFO, COO, and the investment team, playing a crucial role in supporting the firm's continued growth.

• Oversight and review of the month-end NAV process
• Supervision of cash and position reconciliations
• Valuation oversight across complex instruments
• Review of interest accruals and income allocations
• Management and performance fee calculations
• Partnership allocations and capital account statements
• Oversight of investor capital activity
• Coordination and management of the year-end audit process
• Maintaining and enhancing the internal control framework
• Preparation and review of client reporting deliverables
• Preparation of internal management reporting
• Oversight of regulatory filings
• Review of daily and monthly P&L estimates
• Process improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects

Product exposure includes equities, options, swaps, credit derivatives, and other complex instruments.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience at an asset manager, hedge fund, administrator, or public accounting firm
• Prior supervisory or review experience strongly preferred
• Strong technical accounting skills and familiarity with hedge fund structures
• CPA designation preferred
• Ability to operate in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
