Assistant Controller

Assistant Controller – Radnor, PA – to $130K - $140K + bonus

Responsibilities – Assistant Controller

• Own accounting and financial reporting for a significant manufacturing division, with a focus on project accounting, cost accounting, and profitability analysis
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations; general ledger, month-end close, inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Oversee inventory valuation, standard costing, manufacturing variances, labor and overhead analysis, and job costing
• Partner with operations, production, purchasing, and leadership to provide financial insights that drive business decisions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls, and process improvements
• Present financial results and key performance metrics to senior leadership
• Help build a small accounting team as the division continues to grow over the next year

Requirements – Assistant Controller

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6+ years progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing industry
• Cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing operations
• Experience in a leadership-level capacity
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, and general ledger accounting
• System implementation experience
