Assistant Cook

Job Overview

We are currently looking for a reliable and trustworthy Assistant Cook with high standards of

cleanliness and hygiene to join our small dedicated catering team here at St Hugh’s School.

Monday – Friday, Term Time 11.00am – 6.00pm, 35 weeks per annum. An additional 20 hours per annum to support various school functions.

The successful candidate will need to be able to:

• Ability to carry out duties as detailed in the job description.
• Hold a minimum Level 1 Hygiene Certificate.
• Have previous catering experience, particularly baking and pastry work.
• Be flexible to the changing demands of a busy kitchen.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Ability to work as part of a busy catering team.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Show excellent levels of professionalism as a member of the wider school community.
