Rose-Eld Farms is a family-owned, 440-cow dairy and grain operation located about 10 miles west of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. We farm approximately 1,700 acres and have been farming our original family farm for more than 125 years.

We are seeking an energetic person, married couple, or family who might be looking for an opportunity to get a start in the dairy and grain farming business. This could be an exciting time to learn and grow with our family. This position would include a chance for the right applicant to someday have a chance at gaining some ownership in our farming venture as we go through a possible transition process.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Is dependable, responsible, and comfortable working around livestock and farm equipment.
• Communicates well and works effectively with managers and other team members.
• Notices problems and takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do.
• Treats animals, coworkers, vendors, and visitors with respect.
• Is interested in learning new skills and taking on additional responsibility.
• Wants to build a career in dairy farming and agriculture.

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to meet employment background requirements.
• Ability to safely lift approximately 60 pounds.
• Ability to work in a farm environment that includes dust, noise, odors, temperature changes, and seasonal weather conditions.

Experience That Is Helpful — But Not Required

We are looking for someone with a strong foundation, good judgment, and the desire to learn.
