Assistant Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret civil and structural drawings and designs.
• Produce 2D drawings and 3D models based on project requirements and design calculation sheets.
• Demonstrate strong work ethics, initiative, and organizational skills to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
• Study and learn the Japanese language to accurately read and interpret Japanese engineering drawings and communicate effectively with Japanese counterparts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PRC license is an advantage but not required.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in the civil engineering field, including structural calculations, 2D/3D drafting, rebar detailing, and bill of quantities preparation.
• Proficient in Autodesk software, particularly AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience in foundation design drawings and structural design analysis is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in STAAD and other structural design software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to study and learn the Japanese language; basic Japanese language skills are an advantage.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
