Assistant Designer

Responsibilities
Support in the design and development of seasonal collections from initial concept through production
Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes to support new product development
Work closely with design, sales, production, and overseas vendors throughout the development process
Create and maintain Tech Packs, line sheets, and manage sample development and approvals
Receive, track, and organize samples, and manage meeting samples

Qualifications

1–3+ years of experience in fashion design, assistant design, or product development
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator; Photoshop is a plus
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to problem-solve independently
Knowledge of garment construction, fit, and specifications is a plus

* Working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Lunch & Snack provided
* Early Fridays once a month (last Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM paid as a full day)
* Paid sick leave provided per California law (available after 90 days probation period)
* Paid vacation available after 1 year of employment (5 business days annually)
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: From $51,791.62 per year
