Assistant Digital Manager

Leads the company's digital transformation initiatives by developing, implementing and maintaining digital solutions that enhance productivity, project delivery, collaboration and operational efficiency across construction projects.

Digital Assistant Manager levels towards standards, pilot ownership, governance and stakeholder strategy, following the digital career ladder.

Digital Transformation

• Support the planning and implementation of digitalisation initiatives across projects and corporate operations.
• Identify operational pain points and develop practical digital solutions to improve productivity, quality, safety and cost efficiency.
• Drive adoption of digital technologies throughout project lifecycles.

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Develop dashboards using Power BI or equivalent platforms.
• Design data models and automate reporting from multiple project databases.
• Perform SQL querying, data extraction and analytics to support management decisions.
• Develop KPI dashboards for project progress, productivity, manpower, quality and safety.

Software Development & Automation

• Develop applications, automation scripts and digital tools using Python, C#, APIs or equivalent programming languages.
• Design automated workflows using:

Ø Power Automate

Ø Dynamo

Ø APIs

Ø Cloud services

• Integrate digital solutions across ERP, BIM, CDE and project management systems.

Data Platform Management

• Manage integration between BIM platforms and project databases.
• Extract, structure and analyse BIM model information and project data for reporting and project controls.
• Improve project collaboration using platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Revit and other CDE systems.

AI & Emerging Technologies

• Research and evaluate AI technologies applicable to construction.
• Develop proof-of-concepts involving (not limited to):

Ø Computer Vision

Ø Drawing recognition

Ø Model conversion

Ø RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)

Ø Machine Learning

• Provide technical input on innovative technologies that can improve project delivery

Project Support

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, BIM Coordinators and Site Teams.
• Analyse project workflows and recommend digital improvements focusing on dashboards, data integration and automation.
• Provide technical consultation and training to project teams on adopted digital tools.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Establish coding standards, documentation and version control.
• Maintain digital documentation and user guides.
• Ensure data integrity, cybersecurity awareness and compliance with company policies in all solutions.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies including AI, BIM, IDD, robotics and cloud collaboration, and share improvement ideas with the digital team.
