- Collaborate with academic and administrative units to identify technology needs and opportunities.
- Oversee the maintenance, security, and performance of campus wired and wireless networks, servers, and hardware.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems, including learning management platforms, databases, and communication tools.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect institutional data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy laws and university policies.
- Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate training and professional development for IT staff.
- Manage IT projects from the planning phase to execution, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Oversee helpdesk operations and ensure the timely resolution of technical issues.
- Promote user education and support for faculty, staff, and students.
