Assistant Director

Manage day to day operations of the center. Maintain license compliance. Trains, supervises and evaluate assigned staff and make recommendations for further training on and offsite. Monitor all job duties and ensure compliance documentation for the Center as well as employees compliance of updated certifications and renewals. Assist in maintaining daily and cumulative records such as attendance, forms, meal counts and maintain documentation with contracted agencies of subsidy programs. Ensure participation in the centers program by performing proper teaching enhancement duties. Supports program staff in maintaining a quality learning environment in which each child achieves his/her highest level of social competence and intellectual growth. Discuss assigned teaching areas with the classroom teacher to coordinate instructional efforts and special needs children. Assist with the screening, assessment of children and progress of recruitment, needs assessments, special projects to meet the performance standard procedures. Administer afterschool and summer camp program, coordinate and monitor program for compliance and efficiency.
