Assistant Director

• We’re Hiring: Assistant Director

Discovery Point is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director to help lead our busy preschool serving children ages 6 weeks–12 years. Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable in CACFP guidelines and has strong training and coaching skills to support and grow our amazing team of teachers.

What You’ll Do:

• Support daily operations for up to 200 children & 25–35 staff
• Coach, mentor, and train staff to reach their full potential
• Oversee CACFP compliance and center quality standards
• Build strong partnerships with families and staff
• Conduct tours, support enrollment growth, and ensure smooth operations
• Step in to assist in classrooms, kitchen, or bus driving as needed (CDL training provided!)

What We’re Looking For:

• Preschool leadership experience (Assistant Director or Director) preferred
• Familiarity with CACFP required
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Degree/CDA in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Willing to train for CDL (activity bus driver)
• Experience with Bright From the Start & Quality Rated is a plus!
