Assistant Director – Discover My World Early Learning, Crows Nest Full-time |

Help us build something special. Discover My World is a family-owned early learning group opening our newest service in Crows Nest – a 74-place, purpose-built centre beside the new Crows Nest Metro. This is a rare chance to help build a team and a culture from scratch. We're looking for an energetic, organised Assistant Director who's excited to lead alongside our Centre Director from day one.

What you'll do

• Support the Centre Director with the day-to-day running of the service

• Lead, coach and mentor a brand-new team of educators

• Help recruit, onboard and build a positive, supportive team culture

• Build strong relationships with families and grow enrolments

• Support compliance with the National Quality Framework and NQS

• Step into the Responsible Person role when the Director is away

What you'll bring

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) – ECT qualification highly regarded

• Leadership experience in long day care (2IC, Room Leader or similar)

• Strong knowledge of the NQF, NQS and EYLF V2.0

• Eligible to be a Nominated Supervisor / Responsible Person

• Working With Children Check, First Aid (HLTAID012), Anaphylaxis and Asthma training, Child Protection training

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
