As an Assistant Director (Operations), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Oversaw daily hospital operations, ensuring efficient coordination across clinical, nursing, allied health, and support services to deliver high-quality patient care and operational excellence.
• Led multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow, bed management, resource utilization, and service delivery while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Developed and implemented operational strategies to improve productivity, patient experience, and service quality through continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Managed departmental budgets and operational KPIs, monitoring financial performance, productivity metrics, and cost optimization while ensuring quality and safety objectives were achieved.
• Collaborated with senior leadership, physicians, and external stakeholders to support strategic planning, service expansion, and the successful execution of hospital-wide initiatives.
• Directed quality improvement and accreditation activities, ensuring compliance with Singapore healthcare regulations, infection prevention standards, and patient safety requirements.
• Provided leadership in workforce planning, including staff development, performance management, succession planning, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Led incident management, risk mitigation, and business continuity planning, ensuring timely resolution of operational issues while maintaining uninterrupted patient services and organizational resilience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Health Services Management, or a related discipline; a Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role within a hospital or healthcare institution.
