What they need

Assistant Director (Program Supervisor)

P.L.A.Y. Community Child Development Centre is a not-for-profit childcare centre based in the heart of Kensington in NW Calgary. We are looking for an Assistant Director (Program Supervisor) with strong administrative focus and attention to detail, to join our team. Finding someone who is the right fit is extremely important to us, so here's a little bit about PLAY to help you get to know our centre and what we stand for.

OUR MISSION + VISION:

PLAY is a community of individuals focused on relationships, collaboration and providing a safe and loving environment for children to learn and play. We are dedicated to ensuring children embrace their curiosity to engage the world around them with an open heart and mind.

We imagine a future where the relationships and skills formed during children’s earliest years establish a lifetime of friendships and a passion for learning. We believe that what happens in childhood creates a ripple effect of unimaginable possibilities for a bright future for all.

WHO YOU ARE - The P.L.A.Y. Core Values:

  • Belonging - We are a second home for children, teachers and families. Our relationships are formed based on love, care and nurturing connections.
  • Connection - We are better together. We foster strong partnerships with children, teachers, families and the community.
  • Play - We embrace the inspiration that comes from imagination. We choose to be joyful, happy, spontaneous and fun.
  • Legacy - We are creating a legacy in more ways than one. What we do now matters today and tomorrow.

Due to our size, PLAY is considered a second-home to parents and teachers alike. We've celebrated engagements, weddings, graduations and new babies as a team.
