Assistant Director (Training Analytics) - Pasir Laba

What The Role Is You lead training analytics for a military leadership training institute in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), turning learning, performance, and safety data into insights that improve how leaders are trained.

What You Will Be Working On

• Design and administer course surveys, analyse training performance data across multiple leadership courses and trainer programmes
• Recommend improvements to training design and delivery
• Organise the institute's data structures and identify new data use cases
• Analyse safety data to flag risks and work with the safety team on mitigating measures
• Support the rollout and adoption of learning and data platforms
• Maintain the institute's performance dashboard and present findings to senior management
• Coordinate data literacy training for trainers and staff and conduct ad-hoc analytical studies

Challenge(s)

• Managing large volumes of data from many sources and stakeholders across several schools
• Translating analysis into practical recommendations that drive improvements in training

What We Are Looking For

• Education in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or a related field is preferred
• At least 6 years of working experience, including at least 3 years in data analytics or a related field
• Experience in training evaluation, learning analytics, or driving technology adoption is advantageous
• Proficiency in data visualisation and analysis tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, and Python, with a good grasp of survey design and statistical analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to present insights clearly to senior leaders and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
