Assistant Dispatcher

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dispatch team in monitoring daily bookings, truck assignments, pickups, and deliveries.
• Monitor incoming booking requests and coordinate with the dispatch team regarding vehicle availability and booking requirements.
• Assist in checking and updating truck availability and vehicle assignments.
• Coordinate with clients, drivers, vendors, warehouse personnel, and internal teams regarding bookings, delivery schedules, and operational concerns.
• Assist in responding to client emails, messages, and booking-related inquiries.
• Monitor the status of bookings from pickup through delivery completion.
• Follow up on pending bookings, pullouts, deliveries, and required operational updates.
• Immediately report or escalate unavailable vehicles, delayed deliveries, problematic bookings, and other operational concerns to the assigned Dispatcher or Supervisor.
• Update and maintain Google Sheets, monitoring files, and other operational records accurately and on time.
• Ensure that booking and delivery information is properly documented for monitoring and reporting.
• Assist in preparing daily operational reports and other dispatch-related reports.
• Support the team in handling emails, messages, data entry, and other administrative tasks related to transport operations.
• Assist the dispatch team during peak periods when multiple bookings, delivery updates, and client concerns need to be handled simultaneously.
• Learn basic processes of other transport functions and provide backup support during employee leave, absence, or vacancy.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the Transport Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 2–4 year course, preferably Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or customer service is an advantage but not required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proactive in following up on pending tasks and operational concerns.
• Willing to learn transport, dispatch, and logistics processes.
• Willing to be cross-trained in different transport functions.
• Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with the team.
• Willing to work on-site

What You Can Expect

The Assistant Dispatcher will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in transport operations, dispatch coordination, vehicle monitoring, booking management, delivery monitoring, and logistics processes. The position will also be exposed to different transport functions through cross-training, allowing the employee to develop into a multi-skilled transport operations support resource.

Pay: Php16,000.00 - Php22,000.00 per month

• Santa Rosa City, Laguna: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
