Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten is seeking passionate and flexible Assistant Educators to join our team at our Mambourin centre.

We are looking for 3 Assistant Educators to join our team in permanent part-time positions across our 1-2 year old and 2-3 year old rooms. These opportunities have become available due to a team member resignation and additional staffing requirements to support our growing service.

As an Assistant Educator, you'll work closely with our educators and leadership team to provide high-quality care, engaging learning experiences and a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.

The Opportunity
As an Assistant Educator, you will:

• Support educators in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 1-3 years
• Assist with the implementation of engaging, play-based learning experiences
• Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
• Assist with daily routines including meals, sleep, hygiene and transitions
• Maintain a high standard of care, supervision and compliance
• Work collaboratively with your room and centre team
• Contribute to maintaining compliance with the National Quality Standards (NQS) and centre policies
• Be flexible to work rotating shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm

About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year experience working in an early childhood education and care setting
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive, reliable and collaborative approach to work
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
• A strong understanding of child safety, safeguarding and mandatory reporting responsibilities
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
