What they need
- Assist in the design and engineering of solar PV systems in accordance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.
- Prepare and review Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and other engineering documentation.
- Perform cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, protection selection, and other electrical design calculations.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to verify site conditions, existing electrical systems, equipment locations, and installation requirements.
- Support and supervise solar PV installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of project activities.
- Monitor installation progress and ensure works are completed within the required schedule and project requirements.
- Assist with testing, inspection, commissioning, and handover of solar PV and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical and solar PV system issues and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
- Conduct inspections and ensure proper implementation of QA/QC procedures and project quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection records, test reports, checklists, and commissioning documents.
- Review materials, equipment, and installation works to ensure compliance with approved specifications and project requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding technical requirements, material deliveries, installation issues, and corrective actions.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings, technical reports, and project handover documentation.
- Ensure all electrical and solar PV works comply with relevant codes, standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
