Assistant Electronics Inspector ($31795)

The Assistant Electronics Inspector shall be responsible for managing the operation and maintenance service and other duties as follows:-

A.                       To perform site facilities inspection and identify any abnormalities, report to the Service Manager and its delegates and coordinate with corresponding parties such as the builder and contractor for rectification;

B.                       To assist the Service Manager in inspecting the site works and monitoring the works progress to ensure the work done is meeting the contract requirements and work schedule;

C.                       To schedule assist the Service Manager to examine the submissions such as method statement and risk assessment from the Contractor to ensure the works to be carried out safely and safely proper ways;

D.                      To coordinate with corresponding parties to resolve any site issues;

E.                       To participate in T&C, functional test and other activities of the projects and examine the related documents to ensure the correctness;

F.                       To perform coordination and following up action of CM and PM for the systems during Maintenance Period;

G.                      To follow up the outstanding items and defects clearing action performed by the Contractor;

H.                      To assist the Service Manager to maintain the site activities documents; and

To perform any duty assigned by the Service Manager.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

A.                       The Assistant Electronics Inspector shall possess a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or Computer and Information Engineering or other related disciplines or equivalent, from Hong Kong polytechnic university / polytechnic, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or a technical institute / technical college, or equivalent;

B.                       The Assistant Electronics Inspector shall possess at least Three (3) years’ post-qualification experience in the installation, maintenance and operation of telecommunications, electronic or information & communications technology equipment, or equivalent (the relevant experience in the installation, maintenance and operation of information & communications technology equipment should include operation, troubleshooting and support in IT infrastructure, or server including OS and hardware);

C.                       The Assistant Electronics Inspector shall possess shall possess a valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate;

D.                      The Assistant Electronics Inspector shall meet the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent.

E.                       The Assistant Electronics Inspector shall possess basic spoken and written English and Chinese.

Working Period: Monday to Friday; or Five (5) days a week, or other operational hours subject to operational needs.

Service Hour:

8:30 -17:30 non-stop services; or 09:00 - 18:00 or other operational hours subject to operational needs.
