Assistant Engineer

Role Summary:

The Assistant Engineer role is to support repair shop PE/NPI/SPO engineer implement repair PRODUCT safety, quality, delivery and cost.

You will collaborate with EHS & Quality to address product quality/safety concerns. This role provides a training opportunity to learn to become a qualified engineer.

Responsibilities

• Assist PE/NPI engineer/SPO with Router (task lists), Methods / Work Instruction (WPS/SOP) create or revised, and defined required Materials incl. locally manufactured (SPAD), Fixtures, Tools & Supplies, Environment, related Trainings, New Equipment, etc
• Assist product engineers/process engineers to assist in on-site maintenance problem clarification and support, assist in DR/Inquiry creation and EI preparation
• Assist NPI engineers with repair trial run, repair capability applications and regular repair capability self evaluation
• Assist PE/NPI engineer/SPO for Part rework evaluation and improvement
• Supporting EHS and Quality department, definition, and implementation of Corrective Actions / Preventive Actions. Driving / Supporting EHS and Ergonomics projects
• Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline in this role
• Collaborates with others to solve issues
• Carries out any other tasks as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Graduated from a science or engineering major or above with a college degree
• More than 1 year of experience in engine maintenance
• Possess basic English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, TOEIC score above 500
• Careful and responsible, proactive, good at communication and coordination, possess good logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
