Assistant Engineer

About the role

Assist the Engineering Department in technical and engineering activities, including preparation, modification, and development of 2D/3D engineering drawings using SolidWorks, and support in product design, development, and improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and develop 2D/3D engineering drawings using SolidWorks
• Assist in product design, development, and improvement
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, BOM, and project-related documents
• Support Production and Technical teams in resolving technical and design issues
• Assist with product inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and quality improvement
• Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Sales, and other departments on engineering requirements
• Perform site visits or customer visits when required

Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field
• Familiar with SolidWorks and able to create/edit 2D and 3D drawings
• Good understanding of engineering principles, mechanical components, and technical drawings
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
• Good technical problem-solving and analytical skills
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
• Able to work closely with Production and Technical teams
