Assistant Engineer 助理工程师

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate customer technical requirements, specifications, and product development requests.
• Review customer drawings, artwork, and packaging requirements to ensure manufacturability and compliance with production capabilities.
• Assist in planning and coordinating customer projects from inquiry stage through sample development and production implementation.
• Prepare and coordinate customer samples, mock-ups, prototypes, and trial runs according to customer requirements.
• Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Production, and Quality departments to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Create and maintain technical drawings, tooling layouts, and production specifications using AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator (AI).
• Support production by providing technical guidance and resolving engineering-related issues during sample and production stages.
• Evaluate production processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Assist in machine setup verification, product trials, and process validation for new products and customer requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation, engineering records, product specifications, and sample development reports.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding technical matters, product changes, and project progress.
• Ensure all customer requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards are properly communicated and implemented in production.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Packaging Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing or printing/packaging environment.
• Good understanding of printing, packaging, die-cutting, carton manufacturing, and production processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator (AI) for artwork, layout design, and packaging development.
• Strong project coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer projects and meet deadlines.

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
