Assistant Engineer

Jobscope:

• Work closely with all departments to plan and implement measurable and effective continuous process and workflow improvements.
• Support manufacturing process development, process planning, and validation activities for new product introductions (NPI).
• Provide technical support for manufacturing issues, troubleshoot production problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Develop and maintain work instructions, workmanship standards, process specifications, manufacturing documents, and other relevant technical documentation, ensuring compliance and proper implementation.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers as necessary to clarify technical requirements, resolve manufacturing issues, and support product and process improvements.
• Support the introduction, qualification, and implementation of new equipment, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze production data, process performance, and quality trends to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
• Support quality investigations and participate in corrective action activities related to non-conforming products, customer complaints, and manufacturing defects.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, process improvement reports, production data analysis, and presentations for internal and customer requirements.
• Maintain proper engineering records and ensure manufacturing and process documentation is accurate, controlled, and up to date.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits by providing relevant technical information, records, and evidence of process compliance.
• Perform other engineering and manufacturing-related duties or improvement projects as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Self-starter with the ability to perform well under pressure and continuously changing priorities
• Must be a team player with leadership abilities.
• Working knowledge of or experience with CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication and welding will be an advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
