The Job:

• Carry out on-site testing and commissioning (T&C) of SAMS and AFC systems for newly built MTR stations, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with travel to Mainland China when required.
• Conduct interface and integration tests with the Main Control System (MCS), Communications System (COMMS), and other interfacing systems.
• Configure servers and workstations, including operating systems, IP addresses, network settings, and system software.
• Record test results, prepare test reports and commissioning/handover documentation, and follow up on outstanding defects.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and interface issues, and coordinate with MTR, suppliers, subcontractors, and interfacing contractors on testing and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline; a Computer Science degree is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; experience in railway systems or testing and commissioning is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking, TCP/IP, Windows operating systems, and server configuration.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills; responsible, willing to learn, and able to work independently and in a team.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and willing to work on-site and travel to Mainland China for factory testing when required.
