Assistant Engineer (Electrical)

About the role

Fortune Railway Engineering Limited is seeking a motivated and responsible Assistant Engineer (Electrical) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are passionate about electrical engineering and wish to develop their careers in high-voltage power systems, railway infrastructure, and engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and supervision of electrical engineering works.
• Support Project Engineers in project execution, progress monitoring, and reporting.
• Prepare technical submissions, method statements, work schedules, and progress reports.
• Liaise and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Monitor project quality, progress, and compliance with statutory and contractual requirements.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Attend site meetings and prepare meeting minutes and relevant documentation.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, or railway-related systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Holder of a valid driving licence is an advantage.
